Cubmaster
Chris is a former scout who started as a Tiger and made it all the way through scouts earning his Eagle Scout award. He loves the outdoors, fishing and playing disc golf. Chris became Cubmaster in 2023
Steven Sorrell
Assistant Cubmaster
Steven has been a Den Leader, an Outdoor Activity Chair, and is now an Assistant Cubmaster. He is an avid outdoorsman, enjoys being very active with all things scouts and is best known for his hikes. Steven joined our Pack in 2023.

As a former scout, Jeff is excited to be a leader now that his twin sons are starting out in cub scouts. Jeff’s favorite things to do are spending time with his family, playing basketball, working out, fishing, and hunting. He’s looking forward to the great experiences and knowledge that scouting will provide for his boys and the other scouts.

Rick is a former scout and joined Pack 628 as a Tiger Den Leader in 2022. He enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, exercising, working with his hands, and writing. He’s excited to return to scouting and share all the great experiences and lessons it has to offer with his son and all the other scouts.

Steven is a former cub scout who earned his arrow of light and went on to earn his Eagle Scout award. He is excited to be back involved in scouting to help his Son and other cub scouts have great experiences and develop important life skills that scouting has to offer. In addition to spending time with his family, Steven enjoys reading, exercising, learning history, being outdoors and learning about the natural world.

Bridget Leahy
Tiger Den 10 Leader
Bridget Leahy has been involved with cub scouts since 1986 as a den mother. After her son moved up to Boy Scouts, she became a Girl Scout Leader from 1995 to 2012. Now that her grandson is in Cub Scouts, she is back again.
She loves organizing crafts, games and field trips. She likes camping, but prefers a spot with a hot showers and flushing toilets. Her and her husband took a camping trip across the United States visiting dozens of our National Parks. She I loves being out in nature.

Craig is a Physician Assistant and retired from the Army. He grew up camping, fishing, cycling and hiking in Buffalo, NY. He enjoys teaching his two sons and scouts all about the outdoors and leadership. Craig joined the Committee in 2021.
Our Treasurer is responsible for the Pack finances and budget. They work with the Committee and local bank and vendors on any Pack needs. The Popcorn "Kernel" coordinates the Packs largest fundraiser of the year! They work with the District to ensure we have Storefront locations and slots for Scouts to sell popcorn!
Kimberley's family has been involved in Scouts since 2023. While this is her first experience with the Scouts, she has always enjoyed hiking and exploring nature. As an educator, she enjoys working with children of all ages as they learn, discovering more about themselves and their world.
Mario and his son Milo joined the pack two years ago and they have never looked back! Their favorite events have been the monthly hikes and scouting for food. They are looking forward to being a leader of pack 628, and they are here if anyone has any questions!

Aaron is a former scout and joined Pack 628 with his son in 2021. He enjoys spending time with family, photography, and playing various games outside with his children. He looks forward to sharing all the great experiences scouting has to offer with his son and with the other scouts.
Assistant Fundraiser
Girish became involved with scouting in 2023 when their family moved from Loudoun County to Frederick County and decided to have their son be part of Pack 628's Lion Den. He took up the role under the Committee member in 2024 since he and his son enjoyed their time in fundraising activities and wanted to be more involved with the Pack. Girish enjoys cooking, baking, outdoor hikes, swimming and entertaining kids.

Gerry grew up in California. Scouting in and around San Diego consisted of long hikes in the desert and camp outs on the beach. Those were good times. Many scouts in the community know Gerry due to his affiliation with baseball. He was president of Frederick National Little League and he is still heavily involved in baseball locally.
Bobby Ward

Bobby joined the Committee in 2024 and has one Scout.
Bobby and his son enjoy the campouts and hikes, while making new friends. Outside of scouts, Bobby and his family enjoy national parks and zoos, and exploring newplaces.
